The Sport-Thieme “Basic” Pilates roller is made of polyethylene foam that is resistant to deformation. It is water-repellent and therefore ideally suited to sweat-inducing training sessions. Whether used whilst sitting or lying down, the roller allows for a variety of exercises. In addition to the classic ‘legs, bums and tums’ workouts, individual muscle groups can also be targeted and massaged. Due to the roller being firm, stability exercises are much more challenging as you not only have to keep your body in balance but also react to the unstable base.
